The MSc in Social and Applied Psychology is composed of four compulsory modules and two optional modules. The compulsory modules are Advanced Statistics and Methodology (SP801), Current Issues in Social and Applied Psychology 1: Theory (SP802), Current Issues in Social and Applied Psychology 2: Applications (SP817), and a supervised empirical or theoretical dissertation (SP998).

Advanced Topics in Intergroup Relations (SP813) is a recommended module for Social and Applied Psychology students, although you may be permitted to take others, at the discretion of the MSc Director and the specific module convenor.

Location

The University of Kent has three campuses in the UK, situated in Canterbury, Medway, and Tonbridge. It also has sites in Europe, at Paris, Brussels and Athens.

The main campus- Canterbury campus is built on 300 acres of parkland and is less than 25 minutes’ walk from the historic cathedral city of Canterbury. Canterbury is a vibrant city with a warm and friendly atmosphere, within easy reach of London, France and Belgium. There is a free coach service between Medway and Canterbury campuses.
