Year 1: Foundations of occupational therapy; health and occupation; occupational dysfunction; introduction to methods of enquiry/personal development; context of occupation; skills for practice; practice skills (supervised placement). Years 2: Occupational therapy for groups; occupational therapy for individuals; research methods; 2 supervised professional practice placements. Year 3: Research project; professional practice taking on increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility; professional development in practice; specialist studies; interventions and professional practice. Assessmet methods A variety of assessment methods are used including practical and written assignments, examinations and presentations.
