Entry requirements

A counselling practitioner qualification, normally a diploma in counselling at level 5; good Honours degree or equivalent; appropriate employment experience, or a demonstrated ability to undertake and benefit from study at postgraduate level; as the basis of the course relates to practice as a counsellor at an advanced level, students accepted onto the programme are required to have a current counselling placement and a supervision arrangement in line with BACP recommendations.
