The BA International Relations and Politics degree allows you to engage with the various issues and debates in politics and international relations. These include: the power of America, international terrorism, humanitarian intervention, the EU, and the role of the media in shaping foreign policy.

This course will provide you with the necessary knowledge and study skills to gain a sophisticated understanding of the interconnection between domestic and international politics. You will be taught by academic staff who are research active and experts in their field. 

During the course you will have the opportunity to take part in study trips, internships and placements in Britain and Europe (see our Careers and Employability pages), as well as having the option of a semester abroad in your second year (see the Study Abroad section below).
