Degree, which should normally contain less than 50% of mathematical content, and may contain no mathematics at all; A2 mathematics or equivalent normally required, plus GCSE English and mathematics grade C or equivalent; conditional acceptance on a PGCE or other ITT route into secondary mathematics in the region before starting the course; all candidates require satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau and a satisfactory Medical Declaration before the course starts; all candidates are interviewed.
