This programme provides a curriculum that educates students in the art and science of visual communication, with an emphasis on professional practice and skills acquisition, whilst also encouraging creative risk-taking and experimentation; to this end, students are encouraged to become involved with national and international competitions and with live external projects; there are also national/international field trips and opportunities to study abroad through the Erasmus and United States of America student exchange programmes; there are a number of strands running through the programme: practice develops the skills needed to visualise ideas and to use professional digital and non-digital production technologies.
