University of Cambridge, Certificate of Postgraduate Study, History of Art
Course includes 2 terms of lectures and seminars; candidates are allocated to a supervisor, and write an essay of 3,000-5,000 words, and a seminar report of 3,000 words; in the 3rd term students complete supervised dissertation of not more than 15000 words on an approved topic, which may relate to their proposed doctoral subject; assessment is completed with an oral examination at the end of the 3rd term.
