Entry requirements

TOEFL IBT 90, ILETS 6,5. The following prerequisites (or their equivalents): LFS 150 or ENGL 112; BIOL 112, 121, 140, and 200; BIOL 201 (or BIOC 202); CHEM 121 and 123 (or 111 and 113); CHEM 2051 and 233 (or 203 and 213); FNH 2002 and 2502,3; LFS 2502,4 and 2525; Social Science4 (6 credits; e.g., PSYC 100, SOCI 100). Admission is based on a minimum academic standing of 70%, calculated as a cumulative average of grades from all prerequisite (years one and two) and any program courses (years three and four) taken. Elective courses are not included in this calculation.

UBC’s two main campuses are situated in Vancouver and in Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley.
