The course meets the professional development needs of a wide range of practitioners working in cardiology; participants advance their theoretical knowledge of clinical cardiology by examining current evidence for diagnosis and treatment, and learn to apply this towards good practice; they gain a wider understanding of the differing roles of professionals involved in cardiac care; students choosing the education or management routes take the mandatory modules plus 1 of the postgraduate Certificates offered by the Faculty of Health; or 3 approved Faculty of Health management modules.
