The course provides the broad knowledge base required by engineers in the automotive industry to take maximum advantage of new technologies and market opportunities; it is offered jointly with the University of Sussex; course delivery is divided equally between the 2 universities; an industrial seminar programme is operated in parallel with the taught component to provide an insight into current and future industrial practice; the course culminates in a project that may be either industry- or research-based.
