Entry requirements
At the outset students will be registered nurses educated to degree level; students accessing this programme with the intention of practising as Community Matrons will need to have completed or be prepared to complete the Nurse Prescribing programme; applicants with other qualifications and experience will be considered if they can provide evidence of their ability to study at Masters level; all students accessing this programme must be employed by a primary care organisation that can provide them with a suitable clinical mentor for the duration of the programme; they must also have secured sponsorship from their employing organisation.
