Module introduces learners to equality and diversity issues in the workplace and enables participants to demonstrate understanding of the issues in relation to their own organisation and identify how this might impact on practice; the module aims to explore the theoretical and practical aspects of equality and diversity including: legislation; policies and planning for inclusion; monitoring and evaluating impact measures; promoting equality; recognising and sharing good practice; evaluating sources of evidence; reflecting on own practice.
