Lower 2nd (2.2) Honours degree (or equivalent) in any one of the following: maritime studies, environmental science, management, shipping, geography, business or law; HND or ordinary degree in a maritime-related subject combined with relevant professional qualifications and a minimum of 2 years relevant industrial experience at senior managerial level considered; professional mariners with master/chief officer/chief engineer experience and holding a Master's (unlimited)/chief engineer's certificate also eligible.
