International Relations and Politics is the study of power relations in their material, ideational and institutional forms. Students will examine some of the critical issues of modern and contemporary times. These include such issues as the roots and nature of political activity, the changing nature of international co-operation and conflict, the new character of warfare, the impact of globalisation upon states and societies and the persistence of world problems such as poverty, development, environmental issues.
