The hospitality management program prepares students for entry-level professional management positions. Hotels, restaurants, convention centers and resorts all require skilled professionals. The hospitality program encompasses all aspects of the industry with a balanced business and human-resource-based curriculum as well as two on-campus work experiences and one internship. Students are prepared to handle all facets of food production, employee relations, purchasing, menu planning, public relations, and business and financial control. The curriculum also includes basic nutrition, basic food theory and application, food service management, and business administration.
