Encompasses traditional textile craft such as weave, tapestry, printing and dyeing, embroidery, batik and felting, and encourages students to combine and adapt these techniques to express a broad range of ideas; textile techniques are applied in relation to non textile raw material: willow; steel filament; paper; sponge; rubber and found materials and non textile techniques are applied to fabric and fibre; additional topics include: workshop and studio practice; visual research; theoretical studies; business skills.
