Level 1: Students are introduced to the illustration specialism and also undertake projects in related subject areas. Level 2: Students develop an understanding of illustration, learning the skills, attitudes and approach to industry practice necessary to achieve success; the work is project and workshop-based and may include live briefs and the opportunity for collaborative work with one of the other specialist groups on the course. Level 3: The final specialist phase of the course enables students to develop creative and intellectual skills whilst making informed decisions about career pathways or the possibilities of postgraduate education; the course includes aspects of business and professional studies as well as work-related experience.
