The course combines developing a scientific and enquiring approach leading to high-level research skills, conducting original research and critically evaluating the research of others; students also complete modules with practical relevance to a range of sports related careers; this course provides students the opportunity to understand the importance of sport and exercise to the well-being of individuals and society as a whole, and examine barriers to participation in sport and exercise; students are able to utilise this knowledge to develop policies and strategies to engage a broad cross section of society and sport; the course is designed around 3 pathways: Physical education; sport science; or social science
