This course is aimed at a diverse workforce including all teachers, nurses, social workers, learning mentors, youth workers, early years practitioners, managers of children's homes or advisors and others working in the field; there is a strong emphasis on: Practitioner research; every child matters, safeguarding children and care matters agenda; reflective practice; equality and diversity; children and young people’s voices, behaviour and life experiences; multi-agency approaches; new developments in information communication technology: the digital curriculum; leadership skills; and collaborative research opportunities.
