Accounting Stage 1: Students spend half of their time studying accounting and finance subjects: foundations of accounting, information technology and business finance. Stages 2 and 3: Half the modules are taken from the discipline of accounting and finance; students choose some modules in the core areas of financial reporting, management accounting, or finance, as well as having the scope for some optional modules in other areas of accounting or finance. Computing science Stage 1: Involves modules that introduce programming and the use of algorithms and data structures. Stage 2: modules on database design and requirements analysis are usually taken alongside further modules on programming and algorithm design and analysis. Stage 3: students take computing science modules from a wide range of options.
