Business enterprise Year 1: The student develops a foundation of knowledge which they apply to real-world exercises; units may include business environment, which introduces the student to the environment which shape organisations, and strategy and enterprise. Year 2: the student concentrates on the study of business enterprise via enterprise perspectives, looking at innovation and entrepreneurship, and enterprise planning, which looks at how small businesses build a business plan; the student can then choose further options depending on their route of study. Year 3: the student studies 1 core unit: advanced enterprise management; the student can then choose from other business school option units and may choose a business partnership project where they apply theory to complex business problems in an area of their choice Education studies Year 1: The student studies: education and the learning society; learning and the nature of knowledge; the student also takes additional supporting units in the combined Honours programme. Year 2: the student studies: policy, practice and the professional; teaching and learning; the student is able to select additional options from a range which may include: investigating education; students into schools mentoring. Year 3: this year offers the student a range of options which may include: contemporary issues in education; international perspectives on education; forgotten minorities; social justice, education and identity; independent study in an education topic.
