Subject specific aims are to enable students to obtain a broad understanding of general business management areas as a result of studying the BTEC core modules; to enable each student to create his or her own individual programme of study that meets their current interests and future career aspirations by choosing modules from across the other HND pathways; to enable students to specialise in more than one functional area by combining modules from 2 or more pathways; and to help prepare students for work or pursue further study in business management areas.
