Entry requirements
Students holding the BSc degree in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University are directly admissible to the programme. For all other (international) candidates, the Board of Admissions will evaluate the equivalence of their previous training to the BSc degree of Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The preferred specialisation in the Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences Master’s programme should match the previous education of the applicant. The choice in optional courses in the MSc programme may be limited by the need to adapt the programme to the present knowledge of the candidate. Please note that basic research training in the field of life sciences is required to be eligible for the programme. As a guideline for applicants with an international BSc university degree, the student should have:
basic research training in the field of life science, including a bachelor internship of ≥16 EC assessed with a mark above 8.0. The final average mark should be above 7.5 (marks according to the Dutch grading scale). Accepted tests
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Academic module.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
Cambridge English Exam (Proficiency level (CPE) or Advanced level (CAE) depending on the admission requirements of the study programme)
