The new two-year Masters in International Innovation offers a ground-breaking curriculum which combines rigorous academic studies with company projects and cultural immersion. It offers ambitious students the opportunity to spend a minimum of six months in China, working on high-impact collaborative projects with companies based in China and in the UK.

Depending on what you studied for your first degree, you follow one of five distinct pathways:

  • entrepreneurship
  • engineering
  • computer science
  • design
  • environmental science

Powerful integrated learning

Over the 24 months of the programme, you cover a range of general and specialist modules, complemented by Chinese language study and cultural and business seminars. The result is a rich and distinctive learning experience. A highly supportive learning environment will help you to acquire a deep understanding of the processes and issues involved in innovation and internationalisation.

The programme is interdisciplinary in focus, and involves close collaboration between Lancaster University Management School, the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. This means that you will gain a solid foundation across key complementary areas of design, entrepreneurship and technology but at the same time you will develop specialist knowledge in one of these areas – a combination that will make you highly attractive to employers.

You put this knowledge to the test during the programme by working on collaborative projectswith SMEs in the UK and in Guangdong Province, China.
