On the programme students will study a set of core modules developing breadth to their study in a variety of studio and workshop settings; design process, drawing and craft skills are all developed as part of the students college experience; contextual studies underpins their knowledge of a range of craft and art and design practitioners and ideas; professional practice is also an important feature of second year study and it is expected that exhibition opportunities in external venues will contribute to the area of curriculum; options for specialist study in workshops in ceramics, light metals and jewellery, are available on the course; there is an opportunity to work with mixed media such as ceramics and glass or metal and glass etc.
