This course is primarily intended for graduates from a wide variety of backgrounds who want to develop careers in computing; artificial intelligence; games and entertainment industries; and cognition; it provides students with market-led skills in Java programming; coupled with core knowledge of cognitive processes and rigorous research and analytic skills; computing and computer theories of the mind are central to the study of cognitive science and this degree emphasises the strong links between them.
