Core courses introduce students to media and communications theory; and enables students to develop and explore interdisciplinary perspectives on the study of contemporary cultural processes; 4 options: at least 2 of which must be offered by the Department of Media and Communications; students can choose the others from those offered by the Departments of Anthropology; English and Comparative Literature; Sociology; and the Centre for Cultural Studies.
