Flexible programme which integrates theory and practice; offers community nursing specialist option routes in district nursing, health visiting, practice nursing, school nursing and children’s nursing (subject to student numbers); study requirement of 6 modules for all students inclusive of 4 specialist modules, for those requiring nursing specialist qualifications; supporting practice requirements are necessary alongside the specialist option modules in order to record Specialist Practice Qualification.
The main Wrexham campus is a short walk from Wrexham town centre.
The Flintshire campus is set in 91 hectares of landscaped gardens at the Welsh College of Horticulture, accessible by car and bus.
