The course seeks to determine and challenge the boundaries of contemporary art practice; the programme is engaged with modes of contemporary arts practice where work often encompasses a range of media and manifests itself in a multiplicity of individual or integrated forms of outcome; this approach is relational: its central concern is in constructing temporal, spatial and material encounters with a public; it recognises that current art practice demands formal and contextual knowledge and skills across a wide range of practices, disciplines and critical enquiries including; questions of the conceptual, spatial, of material, body, text and site.

Falmouth Campus is a ten-minute walk from Falmouth Town station, five minutes by train from Penryn and 20 minutes by train from Truro (every half hour Monday - Friday.) There are eight buses an hour to Penryn at peak times. Buses depart regularly from Falmouth town centre, the train takes five minutes from Falmouth and it’s 15 minutes by train from Truro to Penryn station, which is a 20-minute walk from the campus.
