Entry requirements

You are admissible to our programme if you have obtained or will obtain a VWO diploma or a foreign equivalent to the VWO diploma (for example, International Baccalaureate, European Baccalaureate, German Abitur, or British A Levels). Additionally, since a number of our courses cover mathematics and statistics, mathematics proficiency is vital for success in our programme. Further, since our programme is completely taught in English, English language proficiency is a strict requirement. EUC mathematics test: you can take this test if you don't meet the mathematics requirement. Required score: passing grade. You will receive more information about the EUC mathematics test after you have submitted your application. English language proficiency test: you can take one of four tests if you don't meet the English requirement. Russian Attestat o Srednem (Polnom) Obshchem Obrazovanii Minimum average grade of 4 AND minimum grade of 4 for Mathematics AND SAT: minimum total score of 1170 with minimum section score of 570 for Math OR ACT: minimum composite score of 27 with minimum score of 27 for Mathematics Minimum TOEFL score of 100 with minimum subscores of 20 OR Minimum IELTS score of 7,0 with minimum subscores of 6,0 OR Minimum CPE score C OR Minimum CAE score B

Location

Located in the city of Rotterdam, almost all of EUR’s departments and institutes are concentrated on two campuses. With a population of over 600,000, Rotterdam is the second largest city in the Netherlands and the centre of the Rotterdam-The Hague metropolis.

It’s famous for its port, one of the biggest in Europe. The River Maas runs through our ‘skyscraper city’ with its innovative architecture. Behind the modern skyline, you’ll find a nice, even ‘cosy’ historic city centre.

Communication and travel links are excellent, with access to multiple bus routes, trams and tube stations. The university is close to motorways.
