Entry requirements
1. Full Education course-by-course report from World Education Service (WES) or a similar evaluation agency
2. Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS International) credential evaluation (Graduate Programs only)
3. CGFNS International Qualifying Exam (Graduate Programs only). 4.Minimum TOEFL score of 100 (internet-based test), with minimum sub scores of 22 in Reading, 22 in Listening, 26 in Spelling and 24 in Writing. 5.A bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) degree with an upper division nursing major from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or an associate degree in nursing or a diploma in nursing with a BS/BA from a regionally accredited program in another field of study. 6. Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale for the courses required for the undergraduate nursing degree(s). 7. Bachelor’s or post-bachelor’s coursework must include satisfactory completion of a course in descriptive and inferential statistics (basic biostatistics). 8. The GRE will be waived for applicants who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.4 or higher for the courses required for the undergraduate nursing degree(s), or who hold an earned master’s or doctoral degree.9. Nursing experience (one year recommended for most programs; additional experience required for some programs). 9. Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a professional nurse in North Carolina is required for matriculation.
