Entry requirements
1st degree in the broad field of performance and drama studies, though applications from students of other disciplines may be considered for those with sufficient experience of theatre, and a good level of written and spoken English (IELTS 7); applications may also be considered with appropriate professional experience, or demonstration of potential to undertake this form of postgraduate study successfully; an offer of a place is normally made only after an audition and/or interview; applicants may be asked to submit a short piece of written work; at audition, applicants must offer 2 speeches of their own choice, 1 of which must be Shakespeare; applicants may be required to work on these speeches with a director and/or to discuss their choices; applicants may also be required to participate in a short movement and/or voice workshop as part of the audition.
