British School of Osteopathy, MOst, Osteopathy
Course is divided into 4 phases, orientation, development and integration, integration and synthesis, and pre-professional; in orientation, students begin to orientate themselves being an osteopath and primary care practitioner, acquiring basic knowledge and skills and starting to appreciate the challenges associated with being an osteopath; in development and integration, knowledge and skills are further developed, consolidated and integrated to provide a secure foundation for developing clinical work; in integration and synthesis, students focus on bringing a range of new and previously acquired knowledge and skills together in order to understand how the human body functions holistically; the pre-professional phase offers an opportunity to take clinical skills to a much deeper level in preparation for the challenges of working independently.
