Combining Education Studies with Music allows the student to study a subject of their choice and to begin the study of new topics from within the field of education; education studies examines educational processes, practice and contexts from a variety of sociological, psychological, cultural, historical and political perspectives; music enables the student to study music from our own and other cultures with a focus on the social background to music making; arranging and composing music runs hand in hand with performing and academic study, and extensive use is made of electronic facilities.
