Who is this course for?

Specialist knowledge of finance is increasingly valued in commercial firms, government and academia. Students will obtain excellent specialist training in financial economics, including basic portfolio theory, corporate finance, and advanced pricing theory applied to derivatives and government bond markets. Students will also learn the latest econometrics and numerical analysis skills that are important in the marketplace. The course is demanding and challenging; students should have strong intellectual ability and should be willing to work hard.

The course is open to both full-time (one year) and part-time students (two years) and offers a rigorous training in finance. Combines a high level of academic rigour with a solid grounding in practical problem-solving skills. The course offers pathways in Finance and Commodities or Finance with Accounting. Many of the students work in the finance industry, which generates a lively atmosphere. Classes are attended in the evenings two-three days for part-time and four-five days a week for full-time students.
