This course has been compiled in a response to Government reforms for a radical reorganisation of the NHS, which has resulted in broader responsibilities being delegated to health and social care professionals and given prominence to the role of the advanced practitioner; the course focuses upon the key skills that underpin advanced practice, which encompass and promote a readiness to work across organisational boundaries, to adopt role innovations and take on demanding new responsibilities such as prescribing, consultancy roles and case management.

Main campuses are located in Cambridge and Chelmsford, both within an hour from Central London by train. Cambridge is only an hour from London, by train, and can be reached via the M11.
