Entry requirements
If you hold a foreign diploma and you want to study at the University of Amsterdam, you have to document that your qualifications are equivalent to the Dutch VWO diploma; in particular, the subjects Mathematics and English have to have been included in the final examination. Russia: secondary school diploma with a suitable study programme of sufficient level and 1 year of full-time university/college education, or an Attestat o Srednem (Polnom) Obshchem Obrazovanii (Certificate of Secondary Complete General Education), final marks >80%. If you hold a relevant HBO first-year degree, you are also eligible to apply to the programme, if you can document that you passed the subject Mathematics at VWO-level. You can demonstrate your language proficiency in one of the following ways:
TOEFL IBT: minimum 92 at least 20 on each sub-score. Reporting number 0398
IELTS academic: minimum 6.5, at least 6.0 on each sub-score
Cambridge English: A (First - FCE), A/B/C (Advanced - CAE), A/B/C (Proficiency - CPE)
