Entry requirements

  • Applicants with a good Honours Degree, which makes student eligible for Graduate Basis Recognition of the British Psychological Society (BPS)). Applicants may be called for interview.
  • For Russia, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries – a good Bachelor (or Specialist diploma for old system) degree with a GPA of 4 or above in Psychology; Bachelor degree has to be accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
  • Aston offers a Graduate Diploma in Psychology which can supplement your existing qualifications and give you GBR status. Once you have obtained GBR, you can apply for the MSc in Health Psychology.
  • IELTS 6.5 overall, with min of 6.0 in each part.


When to apply?

Applications for courses starting in autumn open in September of the previous year. For international students the last date to submit application is 30th of June, however it's best to apply as early as possible, especially for high demand courses.
