The course is designed to provide instruction and training for students without a recognised electrical and electronic engineering background wishing to enhance their training to gain access on an MSc course; the course provides students with a comprehensive coverage of specialist skills required by an engineer working in electrical and electronic engineering.

Entry requirements

2.1 Honours degree level qualification in a science or engineering subject such as: Physics; physical sciences; mathematics; and computer science; where English is not 1st language IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 5.0 in any element; or TOEFL paper based: 550 (no less that 4.0 in the TWE); or TOEFL computer based: 213 (no less than 4.0 in the essay rating); or TOEFL IBT: 79 (minimum 17 in any element) are required.

There are flights to an exciting range of national and international destinations from East Midlands Airport, one of the UK’s fastest growing airports. A number of budget airlines run services from East Midlands, which is only 40 minutes from Nottingham city centre on the 24 hour Skylink bus service.
