COURSE DELIVERY
Our two-week summer school online course runs from 27 July to 7 August, 2020.
The course is made up of daily live, interactive online sessions, as well as self-study videos and materials.
Live sessions take place Monday to Friday, 3pm to 4:30pm (Beijing time). The self-study materials will be released 24 hours earlier so you can preview the learning content. The course is made up of 15 hours of live sessions, around 20 hours of self-study materials (recorded videos/ exercises/ quizzes, etc.), and 4 lectures on topics such as business and economy in China, Chinese culture or urbanization, etc.
There will be plenty of opportunity to practice the language you are learning with your classmates, and with your teachers. We also provide opportunities for students to speak with our native Chinese speaker teachers in our live online sessions, and get useful feedback immediately.
We create and adapt our own teaching materials to suit students’ needs and learning style. Our teaching style is communicative where the focus is on your use of the language in class, preparing you for real-life situations outside of class. You will be offered not only live lectures but also the access to lots of interactive self-study materials.
