This programme is of direct relevance to those involved in the delivery of, or education in complementary therapies and is of particular benefit to complementary therapy co-ordinators in diverse healthcare services, such as hospice and mental health community support projects, those teaching on complementary and holistic health programmes, for example in Further Education (however this programme does not confer any teacher status); module delivery encourages peer group discussion; students are given the opportunity to share professional experiences with others working within an integrated healthcare environment and reflect critically upon their own practice; there is potential to use the module hypnotherapy: historical and contemporary issues as a stepping stone onto professional study in hypnotherapy or psychotherapy.
