Course includes a variety of subjects relating to the history and literature of Wales and the Celtic regions, e.g. the poetry of Dafydd ap Gwilym; the legends of the Mabinogi and the Ulster Cycle; Arthurian tradition; the Celtic saints; women's history in the medieval period; critical theory; bilingualism and 2nd language acquisition. In addition, students who do not already speak Welsh or Irish have the opportunity to begin learning those languages.
