Forest conservation programs combine traditional ecological and physical sciences with social sciences to address issues of forest conservation such as biodiversity conservation, ecological sustainability, protection of wildlife and other habitats, biofuels and biomaterials and economic sustainability.The program provides a grounding in forest conservation with emphasis on breadth as well as research depth, and can particularly meet the needs of individuals who are considering graduate level education in forestry
