All students take 4 compulsory modules, plus a choice of 2 modules from the list of recommended options; compulsory modules: Atmospheric pollution impact assessment; research methodologies and techniques; waste management and landfill design; site investigation and risk assessment; optional modules: Recycling urban land; water and waste-water treatment design; atmospheric pollution impact assessment; ecology and pollution control; pollution and re-habitation of degraded ecosystems; eFundamentals of environmental forensics. Assessment methods Master's students undertake a thesis project on a topic selected in consultation with the course leaders; thesis supervisors are selected by the course leaders.
