We offer some of the best teaching in Human Resource Management (HRM) in both Scotland and the UK The Department of Human Resource Management is an accredited centre for teaching HRM. This means our postgraduate courses give students graduate membership of the leading professional body for HR managers – the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). This course covers areas such as recruitment and selection, training and developing and managing conflict at work. These are an important part of the management process in all organisations. In Business Law you'll study the general principles of commercial law and business legal regulations. These include company law, competition law and human rights law. Business Law only be studied as a second subject as a joint Honours option.
