The course provides the opportunity for individuals to develop design/craft ideas through an intimate knowledge of material and making processes; materials and craft skills are not seen as an end in themselves; process and content are considered as interdependent and mutually enriching; student-centred and multi-discipline/material approach to studying including: wood; metal; plastics; textiles and ceramics; furniture; lighting and mixed-media combinations of any of these and additional disciplines.
