Course covers waves, tides, the design of harbours and marinas, and coastal protection; in addition to coastal engineering the course covers the key civil engineering skills and subjects such as management; structural analysis and design; geotechnics; hydraulics; surveying and materials; option in diving and underwater technology allows students to obtain a professional diving qualification and training in underwater construction, surveying, photography and inspection.
