This is a unique and innovative cross-disciplinary programme combining taught modules and a dissertation. applicants will share their year between 2 fantastic locations - Canterbury and Paris; the modules available in comparative literature during the 1st term, spent in Canterbury, explore themes and major figures in European literature and aesthetics from the 18th century to the present, and interactions between European literatures, in such genres as autobiography, drama and the fantastic, all studied in English.

Location

The University of Kent has three campuses in the UK, situated in Canterbury, Medway, and Tonbridge. It also has sites in Europe, at Paris, Brussels and Athens.

The main campus- Canterbury campus is built on 300 acres of parkland and is less than 25 minutes’ walk from the historic cathedral city of Canterbury.
