Students are encouraged to develop individual philosophies through their personal creative practice; the programmes combine specialist taught modules with a significant dissertation project that can include substantial practical work; this is ideal preparation for those seeking to investigate and interrogate their own practice, whether for professional performance work or for work in the creative industries; there are 2 core routes through the programme; the 1st (creative practice) invites students to engage with a range of spaces, issues, approaches and forms, providing an exciting opportunity to develop and to interrogate individual working practices; the 2nd (performance writing) explores the potential that exists within contemporary performance for creating innovative and engaging imaginative writing practices; both routes emphasise effective self-reflection and the locating of individual work within the diverse context of contemporary practices.
