This course aims to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills needed for working with learners with additional support needs and specific learning difficulties; the course enables participants to: Develop and apply knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for additional support for learning; develop and apply knowledge, skills and attitudes in cooperative working and consultancy with colleagues, professionals, families/carers of learners and with learners themselves; appreciate the nature of specific difficulties and be able to identify with such difficulties; show evidence of familiarity with curriculum adaptations and classroom accommodations to support pupils with specific learning difficulties.
